A Meaningful Vow Renewal Ceremony in Krabi, Thailand.

Some weddings are grand celebrations. Others are quiet, deeply personal moments that carry decades of meaning. Chat & More’s 20-year vow renewal ceremony in Krabi was the perfect example of how love evolves — becoming calmer, stronger, and more intentional with time.

Held at the breathtaking Rayavadee Resort & Spa in Krabi, this intimate celebration wasn’t just a ceremony — it was a reflection of a life built together through love, family, and shared dreams.

Chat & More are not only husband and wife but also the founders of Bliss Events Thailand, one of the country’s leading destination wedding planning companies established in Koh Samui in 2012. After years of helping couples create unforgettable weddings, this day was finally about celebrating their own journey.

Their Love Story — From Koh Samui to a Lifetime Together

Chat and More first met in April 2001 in Koh Samui, long before destination weddings in Thailand became as popular as they are today. Their connection was immediate and effortless. “I fell in love because he makes me feel completely comfortable being myself. I never have to try to be more or less — I can simply be me.” That authenticity became the foundation of their relationship — a partnership built on acceptance, understanding, and mutual support. They married on January 8, 2006, in Chat’s hometown of Songkhla during a religious Muslim ceremony. The wedding was planned quickly, as Chat was expecting their daughter, Narnia, at the time — a beginning they now describe not as stressful, but deeply blessed. Looking back, the couple sees that moment as the true start of everything they would later build together.

Building a Life — Family, Travel & Bliss Events Thailand

In 2012, Chat & More founded Bliss Events Thailand, combining creativity and passion to help couples from around the world plan destination weddings across Thailand. Over the years, they have: Built a successful international wedding planning company Travelled the world together Raised their daughter Narnia, who remains the center of their lives Grown not only as business partners, but as stronger life partners Their relationship matured through shared experiences, challenges, and continuous understanding. “We support each other’s dreams. We forgive more, expect less, and appreciate more.”

Why They Chose a Vow Renewal in Thailand

After nearly two decades together, the decision to renew their vows came from a simple realization: “Now or never. Time flies, but memories stay forever.” The vow renewal was not about recreating their wedding day — it was about honoring everything that came after it: growth, forgiveness, family, and enduring commitment.

Why Rayavadee Resort Was the Perfect Location

The couple chose Rayavadee Resort in Krabi for its unique balance of luxury and nature.

Surrounded by towering limestone cliffs, lush gardens, and the Andaman Sea, the resort perfectly reflected their personalities — elegant yet grounded, beautiful yet peaceful.

Chat loved the natural surroundings and garden atmosphere, while More appreciated the understated luxury and timeless feeling of the location.

For them, it wasn’t about extravagance — it was about meaning.

Getting Ready & Quiet Moments Before the Ceremony

The day began with relaxed preparation inside the resort, capturing intimate getting-ready portraits and thoughtful detail shots.

Without a large guest list or timeline pressure, the atmosphere felt calm and deeply personal. Every moment unfolded naturally — laughter, reflection, and quiet anticipation before the ceremony.

Their daughter Narnia, who had travelled from Australia where she attends college, played a central role in the day. Seeing her witness her parents reaffirm their vows added emotional depth that words could hardly describe.

An Intimate Rayavadee Resort Wedding Ceremony

The vow renewal ceremony in Krabi was beautifully simple — just the couple and their daughter present.

As the sun began to soften over the limestone cliffs, Chat and More exchanged vows once again, reaffirming promises made nearly twenty years earlier.

There were no grand productions or elaborate traditions — only genuine emotion, shared history, and a renewed commitment to the future.

Sometimes the smallest ceremonies carry the greatest meaning.

Sunset Portraits Among Krabi’s Iconic Limestone Cliffs

Following the ceremony, we captured sunset portraits around Rayavadee’s iconic surroundings.

Golden light filtered through tropical greenery while the dramatic cliffs created one of Thailand’s most recognizable backdrops. The session felt relaxed and natural — more like a quiet walk together than a photoshoot.

These portraits reflected exactly who they are today: comfortable, connected, and completely at ease with one another.

Dinner in the Grotto — A Perfect Ending

The evening concluded with an intimate dinner inside the famous grotto at Rayavadee, where soft lighting and ocean sounds created a peaceful atmosphere.

A few final photographs captured laughter, conversation, and the quiet joy of celebrating a milestone surrounded by love rather than crowds.

It was a reminder that weddings — and renewals — are not defined by size, but by meaning.

The Secret to a Lasting Marriage

When asked about the key to a successful long-term relationship, their answer was beautifully simple:

  • Do the right things for each other

  • Be less selfish

  • Expect less

  • Forgive more

After twenty years together, their story proves that lasting love is not about perfection — but patience, understanding, and choosing each other again and again.
