I’ve been working on Koh Samui since 2011, and I’ve photographed more than 100 weddings on the island. Filming here is something I’ve done for just as long. When you hire a Koh Samui wedding videographer, you want someone who has already stood in your type of venue, in your kind of light, with your kind of schedule.
The films are warm, cinematic and honest. They suit a barefoot beach ceremony as well as a hillside villa celebration. My team and I stay in the background and let the day unfold. Most of my couples fly in from Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, the UK and the US, and many have never seen the venue before.

What to Expect From a Koh Samui Wedding Videographer
You’ll receive a beautifully edited film of the moments that mattered, from getting ready to the last dance. We film the preparations, the details, the venue and, where weather and rules allow, drone shots that show where on the island you’re marrying.
My approach is discreet. We capture natural, candid footage without interrupting your day. The only time I give any direction is during the portrait session, and only lightly, to collect cinematic b-roll for your highlight film.
Getting ready and the details
We usually begin a few hours before the ceremony. Early footage is quiet and personal: the dress, the suit, parents helping with buttons, a nervous joke. These scenes give the film its first act.
The ceremony and reception
We keep a respectful distance and work quietly. I record the vows and speeches with care, because sound matters as much as image. A strong wedding film is partly one you can hear.
Light on the island
Samui’s beaches can be bright and windy in the middle of the day, and its villas have good terraces and gardens. I film with natural light and keep the equipment small, and I’ll often suggest holding the portrait session for the softer light of late afternoon.

My wedding videography packages on Koh Samui range from USD 1,600 to 3,000, depending on coverage. Every package includes editing, professional videographers, drone footage (weather permitting) and delivery in HD or 4K.
Each wedding is delivered as two films: a 2 to 5 minute cinematic highlight film, and a full-length reference video with synced professional audio, so the vows and speeches can be watched in full.

Experienced team
Our videographers have 10 to 15+ years of experience, and I’ve been filming and photographing in Thailand since 2009. I’ve worked 700+ weddings in Thailand and six other countries. My photography has also won Thailand Wedding Photographer of the Year from LUXlife Magazine in 2019, 2024 and 2025.
Editing and storytelling
The edit is where the film is made. I cut for emotion and let the music follow the day, not the other way around. I’d rather give a quiet moment a few extra seconds than chase a fast montage.
Equipment
We use professional cameras and drones, and the film is delivered in HD or 4K. Equipment matters less than who is holding it, but good gear gives the editor more to work with.

I live in Phuket and travel to the island, arriving the day before the wedding. We’ll have a video call beforehand to walk through your schedule, your venue and any traditions or key moments you want filmed. How it works
Delivery and Booking
The process is simple. We start with emails or a video call. A small deposit (Wise, Skrill or bank transfer) and a signed contract secure the date. I reply to every message within 24 hours.
Wedding films are typically delivered within 3 to 6 months. Peak season runs from November to May, when I film across Thailand and the editing queue is long. I limit myself to 25 weddings a year, and I offer promotional rates for bookings made about five months ahead.

Yes, drone footage is included in the packages, weather permitting. Wind, rain and venue rules can limit flights, so I check conditions on the day. Aerial shots give the film a sense of place, but they are a small part of the story. People and sound matter more.
Can you film an elopement or a small wedding?
Yes. For intimate weddings I offer a package with one videographer for 2 to 4 hours. That is enough to cover the ceremony and some portraits. If you have a longer day or a larger guest list, I’d recommend a bigger team.
How long until we get our wedding film?
Most films arrive within 3 to 6 months. The timing depends on the season, because November to May is peak wedding season and I’m travelling a lot. If you have a date in mind, mention it when you enquire.
Can I book photography and video for my Koh Samui wedding?
