I had the honor of capturing their big day, and from the moment I met them, I knew this was going to be a wedding to remember. Lisa was absolutely radiant in her elegant wedding dress, and the chemistry between them made every shot feel effortless and natural.
A Photographer’s Experience on a Scorching Hot April Day
April in Phuket is known for its intense heat—and this wedding day was no exception. Not a cloud in the sky, just pure golden sunlight beaming down over Anantara’s pristine beachfront. We joked throughout the day about the timing, but despite the soaring temperatures and the physical demands of carrying camera gear for 10+ hours, the energy of this couple and their guests made it an absolute joy to photograph.
The ceremony took place under a beautiful floral arch arranged by the talented team at The Bridal Planner Thailand, while Neil Donkin worked his usual magic on Lisa’s flawless bridal hair and makeup. Every detail was perfect—from the setup, to the light, to the laughter shared during their vows.
