My team and I have been filming weddings in Krabi since 2011. Over that time we’ve worked at some of the province’s best-known venues, including Rayavadee, Centara Grand Beach Resort, Pimalai Resort on Koh Lanta and Saii Phi Phi Island Village Resort.
Krabi is one of the world’s great beach wedding locations, with limestone cliffs, long-tail boats and warm evening light. It’s also a place where logistics matter. Boats, tides and weather shape a wedding day here more than they do in a city hotel, and I plan around them. As a Krabi wedding videographer, I film the whole day in a candid, casual style, with packages for different budgets.

Krabi Wedding Videography Packages
Krabi packages start at 6 hours of coverage and go up to 12 hours for weddings that begin with a morning ceremony. Chinese tea ceremonies and Buddhist blessings are typical examples, and you can read about both in my guides to Chinese weddings in Thailand and Thai Buddhist weddings.
All packages are all-inclusive and cover getting ready, details, venue shots, drone videography, the ceremony and the major formalities of the reception. You can choose a team of two or three and film in HD or 4K. Prices start from around USD 1,400 and go up to about USD 2,500.
You receive two films: a highlight film with music, 2 to 4 minutes long, and a full-length reference video with the major formalities edited together and synced professional audio.

On the day
Wedding Videographer in Krabi: How I Film the Day
A wedding film should show the feeling of the day, not a list of events. We typically begin filming a few hours before the ceremony, with both of you getting ready, candid family moments and details like the dress, accessories, the venue and the ceremony setup. Where weather and rules allow, we also fly a drone over the coast.
During the ceremony and reception, we work discreetly in the background and let the day unfold. The only time we may guide you is during portraits, with a few simple shots to give the highlight film its cinematic cutaway footage.
Sound
Waves and wind are beautiful on film, but they can cover your vows. I treat sound as half the film, and on a three-person crew one person supports audio and lighting. That is one reason I like the larger team for beach ceremonies.
Light and timing
Krabi’s cliffs and beaches look best in soft light, so portraits are usually better in late afternoon than midday. I’ll suggest a schedule when we talk, and on a coastal venue I also ask about tide times and boat transfers so we are not racing the clock.

Clear process
Booking, Delivery and What to Expect
We start with emails or a video call. After a small deposit (Wise, Skrill or bank transfer) and a signed contract, we hold a video call to go through the day. I arrive the day before the wedding, and I reply to every email or text within 24 hours.
Films usually arrive within 3 to 6 months, depending on the season. November to May is peak wedding season, and I’m often on the road. You’ll receive both films by download link.

How many hours of coverage do we need?
Packages run from 6 to 12 hours. Six hours suits a ceremony, portraits and the first part of the reception. Twelve hours is for weddings with a morning ceremony that continue into the evening. Tell me your schedule and I’ll recommend the right amount.

Do you use a drone in Krabi?
Yes, drone videography is part of the all-inclusive packages, where weather and venue rules allow. Coastal wind or rain can ground a drone, so aerial shots are never guaranteed. I plan the film so it stands without them.
Can I book photography and video together?
